The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of human remains located on the Southwest side of Pawnee Lake. The age, sex, race of the person is not yet known.
The area is being treated as a crime scene and the Sheriff’s Office/LPD Joint Crime Scene Unit will be processing the scene. There will be no public access for vehicular or water traffic to the south west side of Pawnee Lake while the scene is being investigated. Expect road closures in the area.
