Lincoln Police have arrested a 39-year-old man after they say he beat and sexually assaulted a woman he was in a relationship with.  On Friday around 2:30 a.m. LPD received a report that a 36-year-old woman had been assaulted by Travis Bohy of Lincoln.

“Officers contacted the victim, who had severe bruising and swelling to her face and lacerations to her face and hand,” Thomas says.  The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.  “Through interviews, it was determined the victim had come home to her residence when Bohy forced her into a bedroom, struck her repeatedly with a closed fist and then sexually assaulted her.”

Thomas says he then got a kitchen knife and held it against her, threatening to kill her.  “Bohy then directed her at knife point to get into her car and he drove her to an
unknown location near some farmland where he sexually assaulted her again.”

Thomas says Bohy then drove her to his home where he forced her to take off her clothes and shower before he drove her home.  That’s where officers ultimately contacted her.  Thomas says Bohy was later involved in a vehicle pursuit with NSP and ultimately arrested around 11:30 a.m. in Otoe, Nebraska.

He was taken to the Lancaster County Jail for where he was booked for kidnapping, 2nd degree domestic assault , terroristic threats, two counts of 1st degree sexual assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
