Lincoln Police say three teenagers are in custody after a weekend vandalism and theft at Kelly’s Produce. Officers were called to the business at 2904 North 48th Street just before 7:00 Saturday morning. Investigators say surveillance video shows four juveniles, one girl and three boys, arriving in a red minivan shortly before 5:00 a.m.
Police say the group damaged and destroyed several items from the business, including produce and business equipment before stealing several items and driving away. The estimated damage is more than $5,200. A 15-year-old girl was identified and referred to juvenile court on felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor theft charges.
LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says on Sunday night, a 15 year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy believed to be involved in this case were taken into custody in Council Bluffs.
