A 28-year-old Lincoln man was arrested Saturday after police say he threatened three teenagers with a handgun near South Antelope Valley Parkway and O Street. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says officers responded to the area around 9:15 p.m. on a report of a weapons complaint and contacted three 17-year-old boys who said they had been involved in a verbal argument with an unknown man.
According to investigators, the man allegedly threatened the teens with a handgun before walking away from the area. Responding officers located a man matching the description provided by the victims about a block away. Police identified the suspect as Gabriel Aguilar.
Vollmer says during Aguilar’s arrest, officers recovered a handgun. Aguilar was transported to the Lancaster County Jail and booked on three counts of terroristic threats and one count of use of a firearm to commit a felony. He was also cited for carrying a concealed handgun while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The investigation continues.
