After the past year and a 1/2 with a word coronavirus has been tossed around multiple times a day, ad nauseum, you would think that something as heinous as coronavirus would be negatively impact Corona beer..
Believe it or not it has not
Quite the contrary, Corona sales have increased 13% since coronavirus has come into the picture. Aside for a small 2% dip over the Summer, the beer has been selling extremely well.
Early on in the pandemic, Corona’s manufacturer and many others thought the beer would suffer a is a “viral” death”. Google was showing that people were searching things like” virus beer” and” beer with virus”. Others even suggested the beer changed its name… one was pretty humorous “Ebola beer”.
Regardless, of what the future holds for coronavirus, the beer looks like it is here to stay.
