Lincoln Crime Stoppers needs the public’s help tracking down suspect in a pair of recent cases. LPD’s Becky Keller says the first one happened on June 30th around noon. “This man appeared on camera at the Liberty First Credit Union near N. 27th and Superior,” Keller says.
“He provided a fake passport ID card bearing the identity of the victim, and was able to withdraw $3,500 from the victim’s account. Keller says he did the same thing at City Bank on 29th and Pine Lake Road on July 1 around 4pm. “On that occasion he was able to present a fake driver’s license bearing the victim’s name, and was able to get over $1,000 out of the victim’s account.”
He is described as a tall, skinny, bald, white man. Keller says he had a black medical style brace on his right wrist, possibly due to injury or maybe to hide a potential tattoo on his hand. Video and photos of the man are below.

Keller says they are also looking for someone who vandalized Complete Children’s Health near 33rd and Salt Creek Circle between the evening of Friday, July 10 and the evening of Saturday, July 11. “An employee of a neighboring business left her vehicle there overnight, and when she returned to pick it up the next evening she located the damage to the building,” Keller says.
“In total, 10 windows of the building were damaged, and 13 large river rocks were found inside the building.” Keller says nearly 24 hours of video from multiple nearby businesses is still being reviewed for this case to gather more information. “However we are asking the public for help as we investigate this incident,” Keller says.
