Nebraska’s casino gaming tax receipts declined in June, with collections falling statewide and at Lincoln’s WarHorse Casino.
The Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission reported nearly $4.98 million in statewide gaming tax receipts for June. That was down 8.1% from the approximately $5.42 million collected in May.
WarHorse Casino Lincoln generated about $1.4 million in gaming taxes during June, a 13.8% decline from more than $1.62 million the previous month.
Lincoln and Lancaster County will each receive $174,781 from the June collections. Nearly $979,000 from WarHorse Lincoln will go to Nebraska’s Property Tax Credit Cash Fund. The state’s General Fund and Compulsive Gamblers Assistance Fund will each receive nearly $35,000.
WarHorse Casino Omaha generated the most gaming tax revenue during June at $1.94 million. Grand Island Casino and Resort produced nearly $993,000, while casinos in Columbus and Ogallala generated approximately $403,000 and $241,000, respectively.
Nebraska casinos have produced nearly $31.9 million in gaming tax receipts through the first six months of 2026.
