A 22-year-old Lincoln man suffered critical injuries after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a house late Saturday night. LPD Public Information manager Erika Thomas says hit happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday near North 62nd and Judson.
She says the the motorcycle left the roadway and struck the house, causing an estimated $10,000 in damage to the home. Thomas says the rider was taken to a Lincoln hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police say he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and suffered skull fractures.
No one inside the home was reported injured. LPD is still trying to determine what led to the crash.
