Lincoln has a busy lineup of events this weekend, with food, cars, music and community activities happening across the city.
Jeff Maul with Visit Lincoln highlighted several of the events during an appearance Friday on LNK Today on KLIN. The My Big Fat Greek Festival is underway at the Greek Annunciation Orthodox Church, running from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. The festival features Greek food, culture and entertainment.
Car enthusiasts can head to the Museum of American Speed Saturday morning for Cars and Coffee. Maul says the event is expected to feature hundreds of cars, along with coffee and donuts. It runs from 8 a.m. to noon.
Lux Summerfest 2026 is also scheduled for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Organizers are planning activities to make Lincoln’s streets and crosswalks more engaging, along with a steamroller printing demonstration.
Maul also highlighted the Hub and Soul Music Series at Union Plaza Friday evening and the Tried Food Truck Festival at the Sandhills Global Event Center, which runs through the weekend.
