We are so excited to introduce you to our October Hometown Hero: Josh Hicks! 🦸❤️Josh & his daughter Riane were driving to a softball tournament when they saw a car veer off the Interstate and submerge upside down in water. Josh immediately jumped into action and pulled out an unconscious passenger who had still been stuck inside under water, saving his life!Josh was nominated by a friend Stacey, and he will receive $250 thanks to our friends at Hometown Hero Appliance Repair. Hometown Hero – Bethany Sedivy
We are so excited to introduce you to our September Hometown Hero: Bethany Sedivy! 🦸❤️Bethany is an RN at the Pender Community Hospital, and when she found out that a coworker's 5 month old baby was desperately in need of a liver transplant, she volunteered to see if she would be a match. Test results came back showing she was indeed a match, and the very next day she underwent surgery to donate 25% of her liver to baby Banks, and they are both now doing great!Bethany was nominated by her cousin Kayla, and will receive $250 thanks to our friends at Hometown Hero Appliance Repair.
