Hometown Hero – Jordan Pella

By Maria Hansen Mar 14, 2024 | 4:46 PM

There are heroes among us, working every day to make our communities great. Froggy98 and Hometown Hero Appliance Repair want to recognize these deserving heroes and share their stories!

This month we are honored to recognize OFFICER JORDAN PELLA.

Jordan was nominated by Teera C.:

“Early one morning, my son was on his way home and due to rain and slick road conditions he lost control of the vehicle and wrecked. Officer Pella was behind him and first on the scene. Had he not been there, I am not sure how long my son would have been stuck or if he would have attempted to move on his own to try and find his phone to call for help. When the ambulance and additional help arrived, they ended up having to use the jaws of life to cut him out.

My son suffered from a shattered L2 that has caused him to lose motor function of his right leg. He is still currently in inpatient rehabilitation, but we are so thankful that Officer Pella was there and acted as quickly as he did. I haven’t had a chance to truly thank him and I thought nominating him for the Hometown Hero award would be a great way to show him our thanks.”
