There are heroes among us, working every day to make our communities great. Froggy98 and Hometown Hero Appliance Repair want to recognize these deserving heroes and share their stories!
This month we are honored to recognize TRACI PROCHASKA.
Traci was nominated by her mother Julie:
“My kidneys failed over a year ago from Covid. Without even thinking about it, my two children decided they would check to see if they could donate a kidney to me. Traci matched 100%! She has never wavered once. She helps her Dad farm and works very hard. After the 2019 flood she jumped right in and did a lot of the clean up. Thank you Traci for everything!”
Julie’s friend Lisa also nominated Traci:
“Over a year ago, my dear friend Julie’s kidney shut down out of nowhere. Doctors had no explanation! It was so bad, she was hospitalized multiple times. Her daughter Traci was vigilant to get a donor to SAVE HER MOM! After many hoops and tears and prayers, Traci was deemed a match and donated one of her kidneys to her mom!! Recently ALL the dialysis equipment was removed from their home, and Julie is doing amazing!”
